gorgeous amelia is still looking for her perfect forever home. She is making progress with her training and is learning that there are lots of fun things to do when she's not sitting on your lap!
amelia has developed somewhat of a crush on my cavalier, and loves to play with him whenever she can!

so just to recap what amelia is looking for:
-someone with time to provide basic training
-someone that doesn't work long hours, or a family where people are home at different times of the day
-a doggy playmate would be great, but as long as she has lots of people time, she would be fine as an only dog
-regular access to the home and people therein
-a person or persons who want to add a wonderful puppy to their family, who will grow to be a large, sweet, affectionate adult

the more time amelia spends in care, the more it becomes apparent that as well as having a very sweet nature, she is also quite a sensitive girl, who desperately wants to be with her people as much as she can. Because of this, i feel she would be best suited to a predominately indoor home, with someone that is home a lot of the time. As she is not yet house trained, she will require an owner who has the time to put into this, so she can be indoors as much as possible with her family. Amelia's previous owner surrendered her along with her playmate arley. The two girls get along really well, but do not need to be re-homed together. Amelia is possibly the cutest pup i have ever seen, and at only 4 months old, she's going to be a big girl! she is surprisingly calm for a puppy, and while she will require training, i think she will learn fast and has the potential to be a beautifully trained dog. At this stage, she doesn't seem to have begun any training other than sitting, so she will only be available to a home where she will be enrolled in an obedience class, so she can learn to be a well mannered adult. Amelia previously lived with other dogs, a cat and a bird, so should fit in well with any existing pets. This gorgeous girl will break hearts! her eyes are capable of making anyone melt, and her sweet, calm personality will make her the most wonderful pet for a very lucky new owner!
