Hi my name is Max and I am 8.5 years old. While I have been around a bit, as you can tell by the missing tip of my ear, but I still have great recall.

What isn't there to like about me?! I LOVE people, I like to meet dogs my own size, but I am ok being in a home on my own, I love belly rubs, I am crate trained and I love food so will do anything for a reward.

If you are retired, home most of the time and looking for a best friend, a tradie looking for a mate to join you on your site visits or an older family looking for a new mate to make a dent in your couch....HERE I AM!!!! Did I mention I LOVE people? I even give bear hugs.

I am great in the car, but would also love to hang out on your acres while we potter around and we eat sandwiches.

For an older boy, I still have a spring in my paws, but love to have firm boundaries and clear guidelines.

Currently I live with a young family, a foster dog brother and sister, cow friends, chicken mates and a couple of goaties. I have adapted really well to their lifestyle and love having the open spaces to roll in the grass and chase butterflies (I mean I literally chase butterflies).
