About Island
*In foster care in Waterloo, Sydney*
Gregarious and goofy, with a knack for finding the cosiest places to snooze, Island is your classic ginger cat in every way!
Always up for a snuggle with his foster human, he also adores playtime and excels at the athletic events - holding the title of Highest Jumper among his siblings in the game of Toy on a Stick!
This sweet and kooky dude will thrive in most types of loving homes, though he'd be happiest with humans who'll shower him with affection and another active cat or two to play with :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Island is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a wonderful single person, couple or family who'll enjoy interactive play and hours of cuddles on the couch! I also LOVE other cats, so another kitty or two for me to make friends with would be the best.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: One minute I'm busy busy busy, the next I'm drifting off into dreamland!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm super-loving and playful - and gentle too! - so family life should suit me down to the ground :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Great! My four siblings are amazing - I'd love to go to my permanent home with one of them if possible. If not, a nice resident cat sounds awesome too.
Not sure about dogs as I haven't met any of those yet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
