Hi, my name is Jet but I’m mostly called Jetty. My Mum wants everyone to know I’m just a big sooky baby. If you want me to, I’ll lay on your lap, or on the couch or the bed but only if you ask me to because I’ve been taught the importance of nice manners. I’ll also happily sit at your feet (or on them) otherwise I’ll be on my bed. Sometimes you’ll find me sleeping upside down which always makes people laugh because it looks like I’m smiling. When I was young, my family had a troublesome little terrier who had to have a fancy trainer, and guess what? I learnt some things too so I really am such a nice boy to have around the house (can I come inside?).
I’m not as tough as I look, actually I’m not very tough at all, in-fact I can be a bit of a scaredy cat! Told you I’m a big baby. Speaking of cats, I’ve been living with one most of my life now, I don’t really understand her, but we have an agreement where she sits above me and plays with my tail and I get confused. Did I mention I have a tail?! it curls around magnificently and makes me look very handsome and regal.
Now if there’s one thing I do understand it’s TOYS! I just love toys, and I’ll play with pretty much anything I’m given, sometimes you’ll even see me throwing toys around by myself in the garden. I also love bubbles and try to catch them before they pop! You see I’m quite clever and learn things quickly even though I recently turned 8. You'll never see me more focused than when I’m learning or playing, then I’ll have a snooze, because well…I’m 8. I don’t need big long walks and am happy with playtime and enrichment around the home. Another thing I love is people! I adore everyone, I just love them all. Sorry I mean all the grown up ones. You see because I’m a bit of a scaredy cat, the little ones make me nervous. I’ve tried really hard, but they haven’t become any less scary, this is why I need to only be with grown ups who really understand this so they can keep me safe.
