About π Goldie π
Introducing Goldie, a feline beauty who encapsulates the essence of tranquility with her easygoing and calm demeanour. With her enchanting ginger and white fur thatβs as soft as a dream, and her expressive light amber eyes, she carries an aura that captures the hearts of everyone she meets.
Goldie is much more than just an adorable feline; she is a loving mother and a friendly companion who thrives in the company of others. But don't let her calm nature fool you β Goldie is a fan of a good clawing session on her cardboard scratcher and enjoys soaking in the view from a cozy windowsill. Although content to do her own thing, Goldie loves human companionship and has happily coexisted in a bustling household with children, greeting their antics with a serenely accepting disposition.
While her explorations around her foster home have shown her to be independently curious, Goldie has also demonstrated her willingness to share spaces. She has approached resident cats with a gentle curiosity, although those attempts at friendship have been rebuffed, which she accepts with grace.
Goldie is looking for a forever family that can offer her attention and love to match her trusting spirit. A window seat with a view would be a bonus for her introspective and dreamy personality.
If you seek a companion who is the epitome of friendliness without demands, Goldie is the perfect cat to bring peace and joy to your home, regardless of its dynamics. Whether joining a lively family or keeping solo company, she would make an ideal constant companion liked by all.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
