Introducing Snitz (nickname Snitty)

*Please note, Snitty is not available for meet and greets on Saturdays.*

Snitz was surrendered to the shelter by no fault of his own and is now looking for his forever new home. At first, Snitz can be a little shy and he needs a teenage/older family or couple that will be patient with him and allow him to build confidence with unfamiliar people and adjust to new environments.

However, once he gets to know you, he's the wriggliest happiest boy you'll meet! He loves his treats so all you need to gain his trust is toss some treats to him and within minutes he will be wagging his tail.

Snitz has made other doggy friends in the shelter so he would be suitable to go home with another dog. Please bring your doggo and see if they become best friends! Having another appropriate friend in the home may also help build his confidence quicker.

In his previous home he would get a little upset for a short period when he was left alone, so you may need to provide him some additional support and independence training with enrichment- the staff at LDH can give you tips and tricks on how to do this!

He also loves running around with soft toys and belly scratches, the perfect little cuddle bug.
Ideally, his new family wouldn't work full time or if he's with another dog friend, he may be suited to be left alone for longer periods of the day.
