Cruz

This puppy is a very large package of sweet, sweet mastiff love! Cruz is a gorgeous boy who seeks out affection and 100% committed to couch cuddles!

At 7 months old, he is already a very large boy, but in his mind he is still a cuddly baby. He will need gentle but firm guidance as he grows out of his chewing and counter-surfing stage, but his joyful puppy playfulness still beams from his lovely roly-poly body. Access to inside the home, and the couch (and the bed if allowed) will be ideal for this sweet boy, as he will happily follow you from room to room. No, you will never go to the toilet alone again! In the home he is very calm and relaxed, so laid back that he's very often asleep.

Cruz has been in a home with children and other dogs and would be best suited to a family and/or home with an older, confident and fun-loving dog for company. He has been nervous when there has been a lot of visitors to his foster home over the festive season, so would really love a quiet lifestyle. If given a slow and quiet introduction, Cruz will welcome your visitors like old friends.

Although he loves people, Cruz is not a social butterfly, and doesn't enjoy trips to busy places like Bunnings, becoming stressed out by the hustle and bustle. He is much more comfortable taking a nice walk through the bush, or your neighbourhood. As he's a mastiff mix, Cruz's exercise requirements are quite low and he will make the perfect companion for a couple of short strolls a day. He hasn't had much practise with on-leash walking, but is happy to go at your pace and doesn't pull, but will need a bit of training to walk in a straight line!
