About Daisie
Introducing our adorable little dynamo, Daisie .
Daisie is a 4-year-old Parsons Terrier with a delightful personality to match her charm.
At just under 6 kilos this adorable little bundle of fluff is a high energy ball of fluff who has a great fondness for affection and cuddles , going for a good fun walk and definitely playing her very favourite game … fetch ball.
When it comes to playing this game Daisie is definitely a little “ obsessive” so ensuring the ball is put away when you do not want to play is important as she gets very excited when she can see the ball lol .
Daisie is a confident little lady who loves being around people and seeks out affection. She thrives with humans who lead an active lifestyle, as she enjoys staying busy. As most Terrier breeds go, Daisie will bark at the door when strangers arrive.
We are looking for a home where Daisie can be the only pet, as she prefers to be the center of attention. While she is okay with dogs from a distance, she feels uneasy if they get too close ( Face to Face) and may give a gentle warning. Slow introductions to other dogs are recommended, and socializing with well-mannered dogs is encouraged as a part of her development . Please avoid dog parks. Daisy has a natural instinct to chase, so a home without cats or small pets is ideal.
Daisie loves her daily walks and enjoys exploring her surroundings. She walks well on a leash and needs a very good walk daily to keep her happy and stimulated.
Daisie is well-behaved indoors but has a quirky side—she might try to join in if she sees ball sports on TV! Supervision is advised for sports enthusiasts. She is a wonderful companion, content to relax by your side, and has shown no destructive behavior. In her foster home.
Daisie sleeps on the couch or on her bed .
She travels well in the car and enjoys an outing
Daisie enjoys grooming sessions and has a long coat that requires regular brushing. She sheds some hair, typical of terriers. Her teeth are in excellent condition for her age. She is toilet trained with regular outdoor access, so a doggy door would be beneficial.
Daisie has an elongated soft palate, which requires no intervention other than maintaining a healthy weight. She is vaccinated and microchipped Desexed and wormed
Ideal Home:
Daisie would thrive in a loving, active family who are dog savvy and enjoy an active lifestyle
Please remember she is a Parsons terrier so loves to explore enjoys a good active walk daily
She needs a home where she can be indoors when her family is home.
A household without young children is preferred, as she can sometimes become overwhelmed by sudden loud noises so mature aged school kids are fine especially if they are ball mad like her. A good size with grass shade and shelter for playing her favorite ball games and sniffing adventures would be ideal.
No other pets please
Daisie needs a yard so we will not consider apartments or balcony style living please
