About Ripley
UPDATE: Ripley is intelligent, loyal, and gentle yet confident. With a friendly, easy-going demeanor, Ripley carries a quiet grace offering comfort with a calm presence and soulful eyes. He is both affectionate and intuitive and is a joy to be around. Ripley would make a wonderful companion to have in your home resting at your feet or outside strolling by your side as you potter around your yard.
He has had training with our trainers, 'Bear the Behaviourist'. Ripley has been taught to walk beautifully on a loose lead, and has been socialised around mix breeds of dogs. Ripley enjoys his toys and proudly parades around with them.
Ripley is looking for a loving home where his family will continue to use the training methods he has been taught. He would do best with family or individual who is experienced with German Shepherds and who can provide patience and understanding as he fully settles into his new life.
Ripley has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Ripley is currently available for adoption in NSW, Queensland and Victoria. If you're interested in making him a cherished member of your family, you'll need to drive with your loved ones to meet him. Should he, for any reason, not be the perfect fit for your family, you would be responsible for either bringing him back to Sydney or helping us rehome him from your home.

We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
