Riposte spent his first week in care, outside in the yard while some skin conditions were treated. His behaviour was excellent in that time given there was limited interactions with humans. Once we could bring him inside, he took to his crate like a champion.

Riposte is happy to play in the yard or just sit with you while you garden. He is well behaved with his small foster dog sibling, and they enjoy zoomies together. I have been unable to introduce Riposte to children, but he wants to make friends with any adults he meets. He sees our inside cats but is not agitated by their presence. However, the dogs and cats are kept in separate areas of the house.

Riposte responds better on a harness for his walks. He is quite the little gentleman really, understands the words “No” and “Back” and doesn’t try to push past you. He has a beautiful gentle, quiet nature and only wants to please. He plays well with other well natured dogs and he responds well to gentle correction from us.
