About Narla
Narla is 4kg Golden Toy Poodle full of pure puppy love and affection. Narla was surrendered at a regional pound (with her two siblings) and came to Australia K9 in an awful condition. But after a bath, groom and some TLC, she has settled well and quickly become part of her foster family! In foster care, Narla has been living with 2 adults and 2 teenagers - and her 4-legged foster sister Poppy. Narla is only a puppy so loves being around her people inside as well as spending time outside, lying in the sun.
Narla has come into Australian K9 with little training, On walks she is excited, curious and does little squeals of delight as she meets other humans and dogs. Despite being little, Narla is far from being a little lap dog. She loves 1 big walk a day, rough housing and playing with her 4 legged foster sister and is learning the fun to be had with dog toys and balls (like fetch and chasey).
Narla is a sociable pup and has been to her local dog park twice, where she has engaged with dogs of all sizes and come back when called. Narla also loves down time inside and will find her place on the couch to have a snooze. When her humans have been at work and school, Narla has had access to both indoor and outdoor and shown no destructive behaviour either inside the house or outside in the garden. Narla has been on several car trips and while this is a new experience for her, she is relatively settled in a dog seat and had no car sickness.
Narla is almost toilet trained and can go overnight without toileting. However, she will have accidents inside if she doesn't have outside access. In the mornings she is quick to head outside for toileting. Narla is currently sleeping on a dog bed in her foster parents' bedroom. Narla has been having two small meals a day - dry kibble in the morning and some prime roll and chicken at night. She also loves a treat. Narla can be protective of treats (like hoofs or a pig's ear) but not aggressively - she just wants other dogs to know it is hers.
Narla is a delightful little bundle of love who since coming into foster care is living her best life! She is curious, still learning about the world and will need some time for on-going training. With her gentle nature, she will make a fabulous addition to any family.

A home that will continue her ongoing training .
If there are children in the home, they should be dog savvy and love little dogs
A home that will love and cherish our sweet princess for the rest of her life.
