About Lord Purrington ππ₯
Lordy Lordy, this is one handsome young man!! π₯
Lord Purrington is a 1yo spunk with a gorgeous temperament and awesomely unique splodgy markings.
Heβs has the most beautiful bright green eyes. Heβs so sweet, he has no idea how handsome he is π₯Ή
Lord Purrington is currently emerging from his Shy Boi Era, and is gaining confidence daily. One thing that really helps him gain confidence is being around another friendly cat. He adores other cats and will need to go to a home with a feline friend.
Another sure fire way to his heart is food π he adores food and loves mousse treats. Feeding him will help you bond with him.
The purrfect home for LP would be a quiet one, with no young children, and definitely another cat π±
Someone who can spend time with him as he comes out of his shell will be really helpful for this cutie.
Once he trusts you, he will roll onto his back for a belly rub and make biscuits and purr loudly.
We feel heβs had fairly limited interaction with humans before he came into our care. He isnβt aggressive at all, heβs just uncertain and shy, but heβs still a youngster and will gain confidence and trust - these things just take time. This gorgeous boy has a LOT of love to give, he just needs someone to go slowly with him and show him the ropes.
Lord Purrington has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus but donβt let that stop you for a micro-millisecond!! It means he has a lower immune system, so he needs to be kept strictly indoor only. If you keep him indoors, he is not exposed to possible illnesses that could affect his immune system. FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives when kept indoors.
We can talk to you more about this. He is currently in foster care with cats who have FIV and cats who donβt. He gets along great with them all!!
Heβs a sweet, gentle soul who is going to blossom πΈ with time and love.
So get tapping on your keyboard to adopt this hunk a spunk!!
Medical notes
Lord Purrington is FIV+
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
