Meet Polly, a delicate little tabby with striking markings and a heart full of potential. She arrived in our care alongside her brother Percy, a sleek, charmingly reminiscent black "panther." They were discovered in a backyard in Dandenong, and they’re now ready to blossom in a forever home together.
Polly is the embodiment of a sweet, soulful kitten and a playful spirit, but she’s still learning to be adventurous. While she remains a bit timid, she rewards patience with moments of tender connection when she allows you to gently hold her. Loving and fostering her curiosity with care and understanding will allow Polly to truly flourish.
Her gentle nature makes her a great fit for a quiet home, where calmness can nurture her growing confidence. It would be wonderful for Polly's development to be adopted with Percy, or perhaps in a household with another young feline mentor to guide and comfort her during the adjustment period.
Polly and Percy have shown the ability to adapt to homes with dogs, withstanding their presence and even their curious barks. Polly is a special little tabby who promises to be a heartwarming addition to a tranquil home where she can continue her journey of discovering the world around her. Adding Polly (and perhaps Percy too) to your family means opening your heart to gentle companionship and the joy of nurturing a beautiful friendship.

All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take-home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.

Adoption details
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Go to our website www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au and go to our adopting page.
2. You can complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
3. Or you can download the document and email back via 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we only accept cash.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
