About Blaze - 22 Month Old Staffy (Trial 12/1)
Are you looking for a staffy-licious little man to brighten up your life? Meet BLAZE.
Just under two-years of age, he is an adorable male Staffordshire Terrier who loves to share your company. He plops his butt or paw on your foot when you are relaxing, just so he can be close.
He has a cheerful smile and classic brindle coat, matched with a wiggly jiggly butt when excited.
As Blaze adores being around you like a typical Staffy, we are looking for a home with a mixture of working hours so he can have company. He does not enjoy being left for long periods so is not suitable for full time workers.
Food orientated with a nose fit for a sniffer dog, he is eager to learn in return for snacks. He has recall to his name and demonstrates a good sit. He is learning 'on your bed' and 'wait' but this is a work in progress.
He enjoys his regular walks with our volunteers, he will trot alongside you. He is learning to walk without pulling to get where he wants to go. If he knows there is a reward for good behaviour, he will try hard to please. This will need to be an ongoing area of training in his adoptive home.
He is dog friendly and tends to show a submissive nature on interactions at our shelter. If you are looking to rehome Blaze with another dog, a meet and greet is mandatory at our shelter grounds.
We have not tested Blaze with cats.
Blaze is currently based in our shelter, he is looking for adoption or a foster home while he waits. If you could look after Blaze in a foster care placement, we will support you 24/7 and provide all supplies and vet work required.

Blaze is in care at Fullerton Cove, NSW, and is available for adoption within NSW. His adoption fee is $500, and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
