Possum

Possum came into our care when her family had to move interstate and were unable to take her with them. Possum had a little family of her own on board and - on our director's birthday! - she gave birth to her kittens. This meek little mumma even took on an orphan, but now that she's done raising them she's desexed and ready to find a home of her own.
Possum's a funny little one, she's never really grasped how to say "hello" like a regular cat - she's pretty convinced that hissing is how it's done. The moment you push past her miscommunication and start patting her, Possum's nervous facade melts and she'll be rolling over for belly rubs, smooching and making biccies. She does know how to meow, and loves to have a chat and a chirp once she's warmed up to you. Possum would prefer a quiet home without other cats, dogs or kids under 12.
