Mr. Reddington - 14 Month Old Terrier Mix (Trial)

Personality:
Meet Mr. Reddington, or Reddy as he likes to be called, a polite and fun-loving young pup who is sure to win your heart. At just 14 months old, he’s a bright, affectionate little guy who loves to be around people. He’s highly intelligent, and loves showing off his skills, like sitting for meals and treats. He's eager to continue learning, so if you’ve got some new tricks in mind (he’s especially fond of learning “shake”), Reddy is all in! Though he may need a gentle reminder not to jump when greeting people (he’s just so excited!), his lightweight frame makes this easy to manage. Reddy is also an expert cuddler who can sense when you need a little extra love and attention. Whether you’re relaxing or moving about, he’s right there to give you a gentle hug or a friendly kiss.

Energy:
Reddy is full of energy and will keep you on your toes. He’s the type of dog who is always ready for a game of fetch, zoomies, or wrestling with other dogs (or even by himself if no one else is available for the fun!). Don’t let his tiny size fool you—he has a ton of energy to burn! Whether you’re out for 2 minutes or 2 hours, Reddy will greet you with excitement, ready for another round of play. After a good play session, he sleeps soundly, making him a great companion for any family.

Friendship:
Reddington is a lover at heart. He’s patient with grumpy older dogs, often enticing them into a playful mood with his gentle demeanor. His caring nature has shone through when he lovingly supported his foster sister through surgery, showing just how thoughtful he can be. He’s affectionate with both humans and fellow dogs and will happily shower his family with cuddles and kisses.

Toilet Training:
Reddy is well on his way to being fully toilet trained. He uses the doggy door like a pro and will happily bark when he needs to go out. However, he may still need the occasional reminder.

Diet:
Reddy is a healthy eater, enjoying a mix of fresh food, kibble, and treats like carrot sticks and jerky. Occasionally, he might get curious about shoes (he’s still young after all!), but a chewy treat or toy is the perfect swap to keep him on track.

Ideal Home:
Reddy would thrive in a home with:
• Respectful children (especially those who understand how to treat a small dog).
• Short, enjoyable walks (he’s easy to exercise).
• Another small dog sibling to play with, preferably one who can match his energy.
• Humans who are home often or can take him along on their adventures.
• Plenty of playtime and enrichment activities to keep him mentally stimulated.
