Keyer is the sweetest and happiest Kelpie in Melbourne right now. There is not a photo she takes where she is not smiling, even her pound photo. Her positive attitude is a breath of fresh air, as how could one be so happy despite the circumstances she has found herself in at such a young age. She is an early riser and always wakes up with a smile on her face, ready to start the day with such enthusiasm and lots of affection.

Keyer is currently in a foster home with both big and small dogs and has a good relationship with both. Her best friend in the home is the smallest dog in the house (only 6.7kg) and they play all day. Respectful when meeting other dogs, she goes up to other dogs slowly and would sit before allowing the other dog to smell her first, before she does. She will always say hi to the humans first before greeting their dogs.

The perfect best friend you could find if you are looking for a family dog, Keyer would fit into any type of home and situation. Dog-savvy cats shouldn't be an issue as she is very gentle however she has not been tested with one. She has met many kids at the park and doesn't jump on them, she will sit and wait for them to pat them, she has even won the hearts of a few kids that were at first hesitant about dogs at first.

Keyer enjoys long walks at the park and would prefer owners who are active and able to take her out every day as true to her active kelpie nature. Unlike most kelpies, she does not bark nor likes to chase balls - she is happy to just be with you.

In foster care, she has learnt to use the doggy door and has become an expert! She has started to learn to play with toys. Keyer has free roam of the house day and night and will take herself out to toilet when necessary. She also entertains herself during the day and likes to hang out in the backyard when it is nice and sunny. Her ideal home will have another dog as a companion however it is not necessary as she loves human company too.
