About Bridie
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- Enjoy walking the dog on a daily basis
- Much love to give this delightful girl
- A commitment to adopting her forever!
Bridie is your perfect little angel!
Why you ask?
Because she was a complete surprise package - pulled out of a Pound the week before Christmas and in time for her 7th Birthday - we had no idea what to expect and were delighted to discover such a sweet girl.
Her behaviour in foster shows he has been a much-loved pet for over 2 years, as she is:
• very affectionate and wants to be near you all the time, but doesn’t stress when you go out,
• not destructive when left inside at home when you are out,
• toilet-trained and uses a dog-door
• sleeps quietly through the night
• a great walker – she adores her walks and gets very excited when she sees a lead coming out. She will do little rears/ jumps of excitement, but then strides out and walks perfectly on lead!
• Not reactive to other breeds and is happy to ignore them on her walks or have a sniff if they seem friendly.
• jumps easily in the back of the car or higher van
• in good condition and is a good eater
• sociable and yet respectful with the other greyhounds in the house
You couldn’t ask for more in a pet greyhound – this gal ticks all boxes and as a bonus she is a small blue!
Did we mention she has the cutest little mohawk on the back of her neck?
While she is currently in foster with several male greyhounds, we think she would be fine as a solo dog. She would prefer someone to be home to keep her company, but we believe she may be fine with full-time workers. In fact we think she is such a perfect angel that she would fit into any forever home.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
