SENSATIONAL SENIOR ALERT!!
We often hear that “age is just a number” and that is absolutely true when it comes to our girl, Rosie.
Although she looks like a Chihuahua, her microchip says that she is actually a Pomeranian/Foxie cross.
Although the calendar says that she is almost 14 years old, Rosie doesn’t let her age define her.
When she came to us a month ago, she was in pretty poor condition. Rosie had been living in a hoarded home, and her human had advanced dementia. She had terrible skin, and she was missing most of the hair down her back.
This was caused by a combination of poor diet, fleas and her living conditions but since coming into our care, she is now a healthy, happy girl.
Rosie is a real character. She is great with other dogs and with cats. She ignores the caged birds in her foster home too.
Rosie LOVES to go in the car and will do a happy little dance at the door if she thinks she is going on a drive.
Rosie is curious, social and friendly. We have had her around a young child (6 years old) and she is great with him.
Rosie is such a happy little soul. She has had all of her vet work done, including an operation to remove a fat deposit where her desexing line was and a major dental surgery with lots of extractions. Don’t worry though, she loves her food and can still eat anything, including dry food!
Rosie is an absolute love. She is a wonderful companion, and she is the sort of dog who will brighten up your life, just by being in it.
