About Pepperoni
Pepperoni is a small-medium sized puppy who is full of beans! She loves an adventure to the beach, or a walk to the park where she can run around and chase a ball or have a swim.
She is ultra friendly with anything and everyone she meets, she loves playing with other dogs as well as exploring on her own. Being a puppy, she loves an afternoon snooze on the couch after her day of playing.
She is getting better and better at recall after displaying some selective hearing skills with those big ears of hers. She is still learning that cats are friends and has come leaps and bounds with her exposure to them.
She is everything you'd expect from a happy go lucky puppy at 6 months old. Lots of playing and lots of naps. After no doubt never seeing water at the beach before Pepperoni stuck a toe into the water and decided she didn't want a bar of it. After chasing a ball into the water which turned into an accidental swim she has absolutely loved the water ever since and is growing more and more confident with her swimming and play around water. She's very much a water baby, don't worry you won't lose her with her giant ears sticking out of the water.
My ideal home: Pepperoni absolutely loves her humans and won't allow you to go anywhere without her eyes on you. She needs to be a dog that is well integrated into a family. She needs access to inside and outside so she can toilet as she needs to.
She would love a home that has a dog that she can play with, she's a happy playful puppy so a dog that she can rumble with and play tug of war with would be ideal.
She sleeps throughout the night on her bed but always close by to her humans.
Pepperoni couldn't love an adventure more if she tried. She loves exploring new parks, meeting new doggy and human friends alike, swimming, playing at the beach and everything in between so a family that is adventurous would be best suited.
My energy level As a puppy should be at 6 months old she is full of energy but not so much she can't be managed. She loves to play but also loves to lay down for a nap in between bursts of energy.
She is very gentle and will understand if she needs a break and will come and lay with you. She loves to chew on pigs ears or any other treat to keep her quiet and occupied when required.
My suitability to children: Pepperoni has had exposure to children and is very gentle with them. She would best suit a dog savvy child who knows how to be soft with her.
My suitability to other cats or dogs: Pepperoni absolutely loves having a dog friend around and is currently in a foster home with an English staffy which has been great for her confidence and a great companion for her. Pepperoni would love another dog to show her the ropes of the home and play with. She is very dog friendly and has learnt to live in harmony with her two foster brother cats.
