About Mito
Meet Mito, short for Mitochondria - she was once the powerhouse of all her kittens, nurturing and caring for them with endless love and energy. Now, this sweet 1 year old tabby is ready to find her forever home, where she can enjoy a peaceful, loving environment of her own.
Mito's Ideal Home: I need a quiet, calm environment to thrive, so I'm looking for a home with adults only or potentially teenagers who will respect my space and not be too noisy. I'd also like to be showered with neck scratches and pats as that's how I show my affection!
Energy Level: Low! I'm an independent girl who spend most of my time napping and watching birds. Don't get me wrong, I still love to play and be showered with pats and treats. I will be a good match for someone who works outside of home or occasionally works from home.
Suitability to Children: Mito would do well with older children / teenagers who understand that she needs time to settle in her new family. Once she's comfortable, she’s sure to enjoy spending time and bonding with her new family.
Suitability to Cats and Dogs:
I enjoy doing my own thing, so a home where I can be your one and only furry friend would be my purrfect match! 🐾💖

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
