About Dutchess
Duchess, as her name suggests, exudes an elegant charm and undeniable beauty. With her striking blaze, adorable mittens, and chocolate points that are sure to captivate any feline admirer, she's a sight to behold. As a stunning representative of the Ragdoll breed, Duchess carries a regal presence coupled with a gentle demeanor. She is now ready for the warmth of a loving home and family that can help her blossom from her shy beginnings into the loving creature she was always meant to be.
Having spent her early years as a breeding cat, Duchess is still learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cherished within a home. Her new family will need to be patient, offering her the space and understanding required for her to build trust and gain confidence. Once Duchess feels secure, you will be rewarded with a loyal and devoted companion whose subtle grace and loving gaze are an everyday delight.
At just two years old, Duchess merges wisdom with youthful curiosity, often displaying the playful antics of a kitten wrapped in the grace of an older cat. Her stunning blue eyes are always on the lookout for adventures or a gentle hand to stroke her velvety coat. Duchess will thrive in a home where a feline companion can join her in exploring the delights of life, as Ragdolls are sociable creatures that prefer not to be alone. Additionally, her lustrous coat will need regular grooming to maintain its breathtaking beauty, so she would love someone who’s willing to assist her with that.
In Duchess, you'll find a soulful and endearing friend with beauty that is unmatched, and she's ready to begin her new journey with a caring family who can offer her the love and companionship she truly deserves.
Note the adoption process will be longer for Dutchess.
We want to ensure that she finds the right home, who will love and cherish her - not just someone wanting to have a ragdoll.
Understand there will be many applications for Dutchess and this process will take time whilst we find her the perfect home.
We will be doing a first round of meet and greets out for the applications we receive.
We will shortlist those meet and greets based on a number of factors.
We will then run a second round of meet and greets before selecting an Adoptor.
We understand that many people will be interested in adopting her, but there can only be one forever home. Please know that if you're not selected, it is not a reflection of you, but rather finding the best fit for her Dutchess.

Please note - at Rocky Roads Rescue we do not do single kitten adoptions. Please complete some research into 'single kitten syndrome' to understand why . Your new family member will either need a cat or a cat friendly dog to be friends with and keep them company. Consider adopting a pair of kittens to grow up together if you do not have a companion at home for your new addition - we do a discounted bonded fee for pairs.
Thank you for your understanding.
