About Thelma
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Thelma is a tiny lady with loads of love to give!
Born with only one working eye, she looks like a sweet little pirate - but she has a huge heart to make up for what she lacks in eyesight. Her favourite pastimes are lying in your lap and having her paws and tummy rubbed, nibbling on treats, and playing with ribbon!
Gorgeous Thelma absolutely adores her sister Louise, so if you're looking to adopt a delightful kitten pair, these two would be just purrfect! Check out Louise's profile here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1086986
Like all Maggie's pets, Thelma is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... would be with my sister Louise, if possible! We had a scary start to life, but we love each other a lot and enjoy rough-and-tumbling together before spooning as we nod off every night :)
The perfect home might not have room for us both, though, which is OK. I will need cuddly and affectionate humans who'll play with me and help me flourish into the best, most confident cat I can be!
I'll also need to be indoors-only (or with access to a safe outdoor enclosure) due to my restricted vision.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a happy and playful girl who loves to zoom around and chase ribbons before taking a good nap on a comfy pillow or in a human's lap.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: While I haven't got much experience with kids, I tend to warm up quickly to people who are gentle with me and don't rush or force interaction. Pro tip - I'm very treat-oriented when making new human friends ;)
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My sister Louise is so awesome! But if you can't take us both, chances are I'd enjoy hanging out with any other cats in residence.
I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs at this stage.
Medical notes
Though Thelma was born with only one working eye and therefore has restricted vision, she's happy and healthy. For her own safety, she will need to be an indoor-only cat.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
