About Alfie
Hi, My name is Alfie and I’ve just turned I.
I’m a Jack Russell Terrier and all the rumours you hear about the breed is true, times 10.
Well the truth is the last maybe 10 months I have been in the wrong home for my intelligence. I was around a lot of kids, when they were home, but was on my own ALOT.
So I became very bored and lonely.
That made me become abit of an escape artist.
Since been in my foster home I have two furkids to play with and foster parents that are home abit as they are on holidays. Plus they have made their yard very secure.
I love other dogs if they are my same size or smaller and frightened of big dogs, so I have to act all tough and mean.
Not a fan of chooks or probably any feathered creatures.
I need a home that someone that understands JRTs as we need to be stimulated and exercised.
Someone that is home a lot as I still have some anxiety from being left on my own a lot. But I’m getting better.
Everyone tells me I’m a large JRT so don’t get shocked when you see me.
I’m being cared for at Beaudesert

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
