About Pixie - 3 Year Old Pomeranian X Jack Russell
My name is Pixie, and my foster mum says I’m very pretty, I’m perfect and that I tick all the boxes an adopter would want. She says I will get lots of applications and whoever adopts me will have won the lotto with me! I know she means it because she says all this when she thinks I’m not listening, but I have big ears and can understand English.
Other things she brags about to her friends about is that I’m very smart, I’m observant, a quick learner, and I am contemplative; she was probably watching me watch the rain and storm roll in. There was a nice breeze, and it was beautiful to smell the scents which came in with it. There was lightening and thunder, so she picked me up in case I got scared but I wasn’t, and we sat together outside and watched the storm roll in together, it was a lovely experience being safe in her arms and we enjoyed each other’s company very much.
She also says that I have a permanent smile on my face, and that I’m fun, funny and make her laugh heaps which brightens her day even more! I play well with my fluffy toys and my favourite game is tug of war with her.
My foster mum is very proud of me, she says I play beautifully with her two girl Moodles and that we are all good friends. We all walk well together twice a day (she never misses), early morning and late afternoon and she often drops the two girls home because they are tired and then she takes me for an even longer walk because she says I have a lot of energy to burn, which is very true and I’m grateful she is fit and can give me the extra exercise.
Of a night we all watch movies together and then we assume our positions. My favourite spot is snuggled right next to my foster mum or preferably sprawled over her belly, though she complains she feels pined and moves me off slightly. She says I am the most affectionate doggo she has ever met and that I have no personal space lol, but that’s ok, lucky she LOVES kisses and cuddles. We sleep all night long together no probs.
I’ve come from an apartment originally so I can use pee pads well, but since being in foster care I’ve learnt how to use a doggy door so I can let myself out whenever I need too. Even though I’ve lived in an apartment I am very much loving my carers nice big green grassy yard to play in and I LOVE to do zoomies!!!!! She says she has never seen a dog run so fast in all her life and that I’m like lightening! She also says I can jump high like a reindeer! FYI my new family must have high fences and gates. Also being a slim line model she also reckons I can slip through tiny gaps, which is why my last family called me an “escape artist” I will take that as a compliment.
Regarding food I’m not fussy, I do prefer fresh home cooked good quality meals, as all doggo’s like and deserve, this is a given.
My coat is wash n wear, with only a very small amount of hair loss, which is sorted with a quick brush. My foster mum whips over my personal areas too so it’s clean and tidy for me, no mess no fuss she says! I quite like a tub too she gives me cuddles and makes it a good spa bath experience for me with an awesome massage, sooo goood!.
Well, I better sign off, though I think my foster mum could talk about me all day and she says it will be hard for her to let go of me and she want the best of the very best home for me which is lovely. So I will leave something of myself to surprise you with my awesomeness when I see you, and I look forward to meeting my new special family, love n licks, Pixie xx.
