About Barney - 6 month old Yorkshire x Poodle
My name is Barney (I’m the one with brown ears!) and I may be one of the sweetest, cutest dogs you’ll ever meet.
My brothers and sisters were surrendered and we are looking for our forever homes.
I am just a tiny tot weighing just 2.8kg.
I love to play with my brother Arthur. We love to chase balls, play tug of war, and chase each around the yard.
I’m still learning, so my ideal family will have the patience and understanding to teach me all the things a confident puppy should know – how to be calm around distractions, loose lead
walking and maybe even some party tricks. I will spend the rest of my life loving you in return!
I love my human company and would like to have the company of another friendly dog. My new family will be home with us most of the time. I would like a yard to run around in and explore the world. I don't bark except to let you know if someone is at the door etc. so I'll keep you safe.
My toilet training is a work in progress so I will need to learn to use the doggy door, or leave door open if you can while I'm learning.
I travel really well in the car in a small carry crate. I sleep inside all night in my crate I’m okay with older children and I really love cuddle time, having my tummy and ears rubbed and scratched. My foster mum thinks I am just amazing and am learning quickly.
My ideal home will consist of:
* a calm household & friendly dog who can keep me company
* daily walks and ongoing positive reinforcement training to help me be my best dog
* fresh food feeding as I am thriving on this and would love to continue
* I have a lovely non-shedding coat, and only need a few minutes brush, as my coat is very fine so I dry very quickly after my wash.
* ongoing toilet & crate training.
Barney is in foster care in Sydney, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. Barney's adoption fee is $1,000 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
