About Lola and Pixie
Pixie & Lola – A Bonded Pair of Senior Chihuahuas
Meet Pixie and Lola, an inseparable duo of senior Chihuahuas who are as sweet as they are loving. These two girls are looking for a forever home where they can spend their golden years together, bringing double the love and charm into your life.
Pixie (10 years old, Smooth Coat Chihuahua)
Pixie is a sprightly 10-year-old with bursts of playful energy and a heart full of affection. She loves spending sunny days outdoors, basking in the warmth, and playing in short, joyful spurts. Pixie is toilet-trained, crate-trained, and a quiet, low-maintenance companion. She travels like a pro in the car and enjoys cuddling up for cozy evenings at home.
Pixie’s playful and loving nature makes her a joy to be around, and she would thrive in a calm, loving environment with access to outdoor spaces where she can explore and enjoy the sun.
Lola (14 years old, Long Coat Chihuahua)
Lola is a calm and gentle 14-year-old who prefers a slower pace of life. She enjoys spending her days napping, relaxing, and soaking up the love of her humans. Lola thrives in a peaceful, respectful environment and values soft pats and quiet companionship.
She requires twice-daily eye medication, but her easygoing nature makes her care simple and rewarding. Lola’s laid-back demeanor makes her the perfect companion for someone seeking a serene and loving pet.
Why They’re Better Together
Pixie and Lola share a special bond and must be adopted together. Their companionship brings out the best in each other, and they offer a perfect balance of energy and calm. While Pixie enjoys playful moments, Lola’s tranquil presence creates a harmonious dynamic that’s a delight to witness.
Their Ideal Home
- Calm and Quiet Environment: A peaceful home where they can relax and feel safe.
- Dog-Friendly: While Pixie adores dogs, Lola prefers calm and respectful companions. They’d thrive in a home with other well-mannered pets or as the only dogs.
- Patient and Loving Family: A family that understands their needs as senior dogs and is willing to continue providing them with gentle care and affection.
- Access to the Indoors Always: Both Pixie and Lola need access to a comfortable indoor environment to ensure their well-being, especially during warmer months.
Energy Levels
Pixie: A mix of relaxed and playful. She enjoys short bursts of activity, followed by long cuddles.
Lola: Low energy. She prefers napping and enjoying quiet moments with her humans.
Suitability to Children
Pixie and Lola would do well in a home with older, respectful children who understand how to interact gently with senior dogs.
Suitability to Other Pets
Pixie: Gets along with other dogs but is unsuitable for homes with cats due to her love of chasing them.
Lola: Tolerant and friendly with both cats and dogs but would prefer calm and gentle companions.
A Forever Home Full of Love
Pixie and Lola are looking for a loving family who will cherish them as much as they’ll cherish you. Adopting this bonded pair means opening your heart to double the joy, warmth, and companionship.
If you’re ready to give Pixie and Lola the peaceful and loving home they deserve, they’re ready to fill your life with unconditional love and sweet moments.
Medical notes
Lola has 'dry eye' which requires twice daily drops to ensure she is comfortable.
