About Buddy
Meet our little firecracker Buddy!
This sweet little guy has had a slightly confusing upbringing where he was exposed to some not so favourable "training" methods.
Here's the thing: our relationships with dogs need to be based on trust. We can build on it from there. For dogs to trust us, they need to feel safe. Simples!
Buddy is an awesome guy, more than ready to move on & find his forever home. He is a fun, zippy, playful & sometimes vocal dude! He thrives when he has his favourite people around, people that he trusts & feels safe with.
Buddy needs someone who is at home with him more than they are away. He is the kind of guy who will be your shadow, he will certainly bond very strongly to his guardian. He is desperate to be a lap dog, be spoilt rotten & be your bestie for life. He has so much love to give & so many smiles to bring :)
Buddy requires regular daily exercise & he LOVES going out exploring. Just the very sight of his harness has him dancing in circles ready to gooooo!
Buddy loves his toys, he also enjoys a bit of digging - don't forget, he is a terrier, it's a what they were made to do!!
A patient & understanding home is what we are seeking for Buddy, he has had enough upset & confusion in his young life. Dogs appreciate predictability, routine & positive reinforcement training methods!
Little dogs are very popular & don't tend to last long in shelters, but we will be vetting prospective adopters carefully for Buddy to ensure we get the right fit for him. It is what he deserves & we owe him that much!
