About Mitch - 4 Year Old French Bulldog
Meet Mitch!
Mitch is a sweet, cuddly, and irresistibly quirky 4-year-old French Bulldog who’s ready to find his forever home. With his cheeky personality and endless charm, Mitch is sure to bring plenty of laughter and love to your life. Whether he’s snuggling up for some cozy couch time, playing with his favourite toys, or taking a quick dip in the water (life vest included!), Mitch knows how to make every moment special.
Mitch’s Favorites
Mitch adores spending quality time with his humans and thrives on attention, always ready to be the heart of the home. His quirky and playful nature ensures endless entertainment, whether he’s engaging in a spirited game or showing off his cheeky side. Mitch enjoys leisurely strolls around the block—though he’s no marathon runner—and has a special love for water adventures, complete with his very own life vest for safe splashing. After playtime, Mitch is perfectly content to curl up and catch some well-deserved Z’s, proving he’s the ideal balance of playful and relaxed.
Skills and Areas for Growth
When it comes to areas for growth, Mitch is a bit of a social butterfly and gets excited when he sees other dogs. With a little training, he’ll learn to stay calm during these encounters. He also prefers to be the sole star of the household, making him an ideal match for someone looking for a one-and-only furry friend to spoil and adore.
The Perfect Home for Mitch
Mitch’s ideal home is one where he can be the centre of attention. He’d love someone who is home most of the time to give him plenty of love and cuddles. While he is very much an indoor dog who loves being close to his humans, he would benefit from a courtyard or small yard where he can get some fresh air, especially on hotter days when he can’t go for walks.
Important Information About Mitch and BOAS Surgery
Mitch has undergone surgery for Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS), a condition common in French Bulldogs. This procedure has significantly improved his breathing, allowing him to enjoy a better quality of life. However, there are still a few important considerations for Mitch’s care. He should stick to short walks and avoid strenuous activities to ensure he remains comfortable and healthy. Additionally, Mitch is sensitive to high temperatures and needs to stay cool, making it essential for him to remain indoors during hot weather.
Mitch has come a long way since his days at the pound and is ready to share his love and loyalty with a new family. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and charming companion, Mitch might be the perfect match for you. Could you be the one to give Mitch the forever home he deserves? 🐾
Mitch is in foster care on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $1200 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
