About Woody
Meet Woody, a distinguished 10 year old kelpie gentleman. Woody is the happiest boy, and his tail is always wagging.
Woody loves a good walk, play and splashing in water. He’s great with other dogs.
Most of all, Woody loves a good full body cuddle, pats, bum scratches and to potter around with his people.
Woody had a rough farm life, spending most of his time on a chain, due to his wandering (no fencing).
In foster care, Woody has been easily contained by secure fencing, and is fine going on offload walks around the farm. He will follow his nose off from time to time, but comes back to check in. Woody walks well on a lead.
This special boy is as loyal and loving as a kelpie can be, and is looking for an amazing retirement home where he will be spoiled, still stimulated, and given everything he needs.
Woody has had a full health check, and is doing great! His ears are still recovering from the severe fly damage they came in with.

Woody came into care with severe fly bite on his ears. This is healing, but he may need ongoing fly preventative (if they continue to get his ears), until they fully heal.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
