About Buster (boss)
Meet Boss, a spirited 7-month-old German Shepherd crossbreed puppy who's sure to steal your heart. Full of energy, charm, and endless entertainment, Boss is a true clown at heart. With his goofy antics, he'll keep you laughing for hours! But he's not all fun and games-this intelligent pup is eager to learn and please. Boss has an "on switch" that transforms him from a playful bundle of joy into an obedient, focused scholar when the time comes. With the right guidance and patience, he will grow into a well-rounded, disciplined companion.
Boss is social and loves meeting new friends. He hasn't met a dog yet that he doesn't instantly become best buds with! His exuberant play style means he would be best suited for a calm or patient dog, or one whose play style can curtail his high energy and schweppervesance.
Ideal for a home with older large dog savy children (12+), Boss will make a loyal and goofy playmate. If you're ready for a bundle of fun, love, and growth, Boss could be the perfect addition to your family.
Ideal for a home with large breed experience and a training background, Boss is certainly a dog that will keep you active and enriched as you work out ways in which to keep him emotionally and physically fit and entertained. Seeking someone committed to training with this boy to assist home with reaching his full potential.
To book a meet and greet with Boss please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, Inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
