Meet our adorable, shy, and lanky boy Dobby!

Dobby was brought to the shelter as a stray, and despite efforts to locate his previous owner, no one came forward to claim him. Dobby is searching for his forever family who will never let him down and shower him with treats and all the cuddles he longs for.

Dobby has gone through a challenging few weeks and is feeling quite scared. He has been very timid while at the shelter and would love the opportunity to showcase his personality once he is in a calm and quiet home.

Despite these challenges, Dobby has shown that he is such a sweetheart and has been pretty relaxed and happy meeting new people. Dobby would be suitable in a home with primary school-aged children and older, making him a great choice if you're looking to welcome another (furry) member into your family.

Dobby can sometimes feel uncertain when meeting new dogs and would benefit from adopters who can help him build confidence around them gradually. Dobby might be suited to having a well-matched doggy sibling, pending a successful meet and greet here at the shelter.

Dobby isn't the biggest fan of being left by himself and can whine and be a bit sooky (and flash those big sad puppy eyes to get you to come back!). To help Dobby feel more confident and comfortable when left alone, his new family can assist him with some independence training and he will become a home-alone superstar in no time!

Overall, Dobby is looking for adopters who can help build his confidence in all aspects of doggy life...we're talking about harnessing, walking, playing and snoozing on the couch at the end of a long day!!
