About Tungi
Meet Tungi, the lovely lady who is ready to find her perfect match. At first, she may be a bit shy, but with a little patience and understanding, she will soon recognize you as her new trusted human. Once she opens up, Tungi will shower you with affection and become a cherished companion who enriches your life with warmth and kindness.
Tungi thrives in a serene environment that respects her love for peace and quiet. While she enjoys the company of adults, she prefers a household without children, where she can bask in a calm and harmonious atmosphere. Her gentle nature makes her the ideal feline companion for someone looking to share quiet moments and peaceful days.
If you appreciate the subtle joys of feline companionship and have a tranquil space to offer, Tungi would be delighted to meet you. She's currently waiting at U17/39-41 Corporation Circuit, Tweed Heads South. You can visit her from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 3pm. We'd love to help you welcome Tungi into your life, so please complete our online adoption expression of interest [here](https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/). Give Tungi the loving home she deserves, and in return, she'll give you the love of a true friend.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
