About Luke
Meet Luke, a charming cat who is on a quest to find a new family. Luke is a loving Short Haired Blue feline who, with a little patience and understanding, is sure to blossom into a wonderfully affectionate and playful companion.
This lovely cat has an affectionate nature and quiet charm but tends to take a little while to warm up to new people. Once you've earned Luke's trust, you'll have a devoted and loyal friend who will bring joy and entertainment to your life.
Luke's penchant for play is sure to keep you entertained, providing both exercise and enrichment for this curious kitty and creating many shared experiences to enjoy. His captivating personality, paired with his gentle demeanor, makes him an ideal addition to a loving household.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
