About Chanel
Meet Chanel! Chanel came into care with her siblings at a young age with very little human interaction. Like her siblings, Chanel adapted quickly. She is now a super friendly, purring lap cat who loves to be with my humans. She is very playful and often competes with her sisters to jump high for the wand toys.
Chanel has lived with kids, cats and a puppy. She got along with all of them but took a while to get used to the puppy's enthusiasm. She has been checked over by the vets, as there is this extra bit of bone growth on her head. The vets said it's nothing to worry about and she may have been born with it or bumped her head causing her bone to fuse a bit differently…Nonetheless it’s not noticeable and doesn’t affect her. Chanel is such a sweetheart and cannot wait to meet you!! Chanel will need to remain indoors to keep her safe from outdoor dangers! Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
