Good evening, jolly nice to meet you! My name is Henry. Up until quite recently, I lived outside like a commoner, but now I live a life of luxury inside and it very much agrees with me. Lucky for me, I chose the right patio to keep visiting as the lady inside was a foster carer for Perth Rescue Angels!

Nature
I’m a super easy cat to have around. I love sleeping on the bed with my foster parents and getting lots of cuddles from them, I do sometimes like to play with feet in bed but don’t hold that against me. If you’re sitting on the sofa I’m quite partial to joining you there as well. I’m still a little timid so will often run away rather than let you pick me up if you’re walking around the house.

I enjoy sleeping on chairs, and generally roaming the house. I don’t meow like those other cats do, I’m very quiet, in fact I don’t think I ever learnt to meow and if I try and communicate it comes out as a little hiss, but I don’t mean anything by it. I have a cat run and I enjoy sitting in there watching the world go by.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with a 3-year-old, she adores me and I often go and see her for a cuddle and a kiss. I think I can live with kids if they understand they need to be patient with me.

I will need to go to a home with a friendly cat already or several of them! I adore other cats and would be very unhappy without company. I’m still a young boy and am learning to play with cat toys.

I haven’t met a dog before but I think a cat-savvy dog that gives me space will be OK.

Likes / Dislikes
I’m a big eater, and this is one way to win me over. I’ll happily eat a roast dinner with all the trimmings every day, but understand you may not be able to provide this so cat biscuits and wet food will be fine too.

Whilst I love my foster family, when visitors come over I do still hide, so I think I’ll take a little while to settle into a new home.

My PURR-fect home would be one that understands I’ll need time to continue getting used to a life of leisure (and humans), and that has a cat friend for me!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
