Nature
Once upon a time, I was living the “Street Pawjects” life, but I’ve traded in alleyways for cosy couches, and let me tell you – indoor life is the cat’s whiskers! I’m all about head kisses, chin scratches, and curling up in your lap like the true love scene it is.

I’m affectionate, gentle, and have mastered the art of the purr. I’ll serenade you like a feline Frank Sinatra while you stroke my gloriously boofy cheeks. Want a cuddle buddy for your next Netflix binge? I’m your guy. Need a cat who makes every moment feel like the grand finale? That’s me!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would be purr-fectly fine in a home with quiet, gentle children who will respect my space but still give me lots cuddles and pats.

I love other cats, and would much prefer to go to a home with another furry feline. However, I could be your only feline if you work from home or are home more often than not.

I live with a 50kg dog who I don’t mind at all. I could live with a cat-savvy doggo with a slow introduction!

Likes / Dislikes
I love food and pats. Dinner time is my favourite time of the day, I always find my Foster Mum to tell her it’s time for food.

My PURR-fect home would be with a loving family who will give me lots of pats and head kisses. A kitty friend would be cool, or humans that are home all the time to spoil me. An indoor only home or one with a cat run would be awesome!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Neil Catrick Harris’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination*, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

*Vaccinations are subject to availability due to a worldwide vaccine shortage. Our adoption team will notify you if the cat/kitten you apply to adopt has NOT been vaccinated.

Medical Notes: Neil sustained a chronic radial nerve injury to his front right leg prior to coming into our care. Due to this, he required amputation of the leg. He has healed well from this surgery and does not require any further treatment.

Neil had a dental scale and polish in September 2024 with extraction of both upper canines.

Neil has a blocked tear duct which causes one of his eyes to weep. He will require regular cleaning and daily eye drops for the rest of his life to help manage this condition.

Neil has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Neil will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.

Neil was exposed to Ringworm, a common fungal infection. He did not show any symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
