About Josie
Sassy. Snuggly. Stunning.
Meet Josie – The Playful Calico Queen 🐾
📍 Kogarah
🌈 Meet Josie – The Calico Queen of Charm and Cuddles 🌈
Elegant, playful, and full of personality, Josie is the total package. With her long legs, sleek calico coat, and big curious eyes, she turns heads wherever she goes. But it’s her quirky, loving nature that will truly win you over.
Josie can be a little shy when you first meet her. Give her a bit of time, a calm approach, and a Churu treat, and she’ll decide you’re safe. Once she trusts you, she’s all in. She becomes a true lap cat and a purring machine who’ll happily settle in for long cuddle sessions.
She’s also a natural entertainer. Josie loves playtime and will chase a wand toy like a champion. Bring out the laser pointer and she’s straight into action. When she’s ready to relax, you’ll find her sunbathing in her hammock, soaking up the warmth like the queen she is.
Josie’s Highlights:
🐾 Sweet once settled: Shy at first, then super affectionate with trust and a treat.
💕 Cuddle bug: Loves laps and purrs loudly when she’s happy.
🐈 Cat social: Gets along well with feline friends.
🐕 Dog friendly: Can live with a calm dog after slow introductions.
🪀 Playful: Wand toy and laser pointer are favourites.
☀️ Sun seeker: Loves lounging and sunbaking in her hammock.
Josie is looking for a loving home where she can play, cuddle, and feel safe as she comes out of her shell. If you’re after a cat who will keep you company and reward your patience with serious affection, Josie might be your perfect match.
🏡 Make room on your lap—Josie’s ready to move in.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
