Apollo

Apollo is a one year old medium to large boxer cross. He is a friendly dog excited about and loving life now he is out of the pound. He's an active boy who will need his walks and playtime and his favourite thing is playing tug of war with with his foster brother.

Apollo is good with other dogs and cats. He is good with children and has been fine with the foster carers 5 year old niece. He is not so good with the resident chickens though and will not be suitable in a home with birds.

He listens very well, so with some training, would be the perfect companion. He sits when told, waits to eat until told and loves fetch, although he hasn’t quite mastered bringing it back! This is a work in progress.

Apollo gets a little scared of loud noises but is becoming used to the sounds around him and will improve as he gains confidence

He has been a little protective over his food so feeding separately or watching him while he eats is best. This will improve as he settles and gains trust with his new family and may not be an issue if he is an only dog.
