About Mike
Hello! My name is Mike, and I'm a cute little boy with a big personality! Let me tell you a bit about my story. It all started when my mummy, Diane, was found in a backyard. Little Paws Kitten Rescue was called to help, and she was brought into foster care. Just two days later, the carer noticed that my mummy still had milk, so she rushed back to the place where Diane was found. Mummy led her to a shed on the property, where my brother, sister, and I were hiding. We were hungry and starving, but when we saw that milk, we rushed right up for a feed! The carer scooped us up and we all headed into foster care together.
As a little mummy's boy, I loved staying close to her, but I could tell she was ready for me to start exploring the world on my own. So, I began making new friends, and guess what? I love adult cats! I’ll happily cuddle, boof, and weave through their legs while they walk around. So, if I could have an older brother or sister in my new home, I’d be the happiest kitten. It doesn’t matter if it’s a brother or sister—just as long as there’s one!
I am a little more independent, so I am not a lap cat, I am what they call a couch cat, if you sit down I will come and sleep on the couch. I do like to know what the humans in the house are up to so I will follow them around as they go from room to room as you never know they may sneak me a little treat and a quick pat while they are doing their chores.
Oh, and did I mention my ears? I’ve got the best "airplane ears" in the house! I’m a little nosey, so my ears are always swivelling around to catch every sound. They used to be huge when I was younger—my foster carer even called me Dumbo because they were so big for my little head! But don’t worry, they’re not as oversized as they once were!
I am a bit more of a calmer kitten, I am not always in a crazy play mode, but when I am it is on! I will pounce on any of the other foster kittens in the house and get them into the best position for bunny kicks and rolly-pollies. And as quick as you blink an eye I am off jumping onto one of the toys in the house and starting to bat it around. When I am in play mode my eyes go wide and it looks like my fur puffs up to make me look bigger than I am.
So, if you’re looking for a sweet little shadow who will love your other cats unconditionally, please get in touch with my carer today.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
