About Ralph
Meet Ralph, a sweet-natured feline with a heart full of love to give. While Ralph might be a little shy at first, don't let that fool you, because once he warms up, he becomes an incredibly affectionate and loveable companion. His gentle demeanor is perfect for those who appreciate a quiet, loving presence in their lives.
Ralph's gentle soul enjoys the company of other friendly cats, and he's adaptable to a home where good manners, feline friendships, and mutual respect are appreciated. His journey to recovery shows his resilience, and he's now on the mend. Ralph's ideal environment is one where patience is abundant, allowing his full personality to bloom.
If you're looking for a little lovebug who's ready to steal your heart once he gets to know you, Ralph could be the perfect addition to your home. He's waiting for the right family to provide him with the extra cuddles and affection he deserves, bringing joy and warmth to his new family.
Medical notes
Ralph is an FIV Positive Kitty, meaning that he has a common viral condition. We are more than happy to discuss further with interested families, and would recommend that he is adopted into a family as an only cat, or with other FIV positive (or vaccinated) cats.
Below is a link to learn a bit more about the condition;

Ralph is recovering from a severe FAD which has affected his skin and fur. Below is further information for interested families.
We dont foresee ongoing issues once Ralph has been given some time to heal and grow in some beautiful new fur!
Ralph is yet to have his desexing surgery due to his skin issues taking priority, however this will be done prior to his adoption day.
Flea allergic dermatitis (FAD) is an allergy to flea saliva that causes intense itching and a rash in cats. It's an immunologic disease that occurs when a flea injects antigens from its salivary glands into a cat's skin while feeding.
Symptoms of FAD include:
A small, bumpy rash that feels like grit under the fur
Itching around the head, neck, tummy, and back legs
Excessive scratching, licking, and biting, which can lead to red, raw, infected patches
FAD can be treated with: antihistamines, hypoallergenic diets, intermittent corticosteroid therapy, and cyclosporine.
A veterinarian can determine the best treatment for your cat.
In most cases, FAD is easy to manage and has a good prognosis. The key is to remove or avoid the cause, such as through regular flea control or avoiding certain ingredients in your cat's diet.
