About Cooper
Meet Cooper, our delightfully exuberant young Labrador with a personality as sunny as his golden coat. At just 8 months old, Cooper is already making his mark with his outgoing and lively nature. This eager-to-please boy has energy levels that match his enthusiasm for life, and he’s ready to share that zest with a family who appreciates his spirited personality.
Cooper is a strong, excitable pup who sometimes likes to take his walks into his own paws, giving the impression that he’d prefer to lead the way as he will often grab his lead while walking. With a little training, he’ll soon learn the joys of walking alongside his humans, allowing for the perfect bonding experience. When it comes to meeting new friends, Cooper seems to be on good terms with other dogs. However, his playful spirit can sometimes turn a bit wild, especially when it involves chasing cats, and he may need some guidance in dealing with his feline counterparts.
Despite his boisterous nature, Cooper is highly motivated by toys, pats and treats which makes him an excellent candidate for continued training. His keen intelligence will help him quickly learn commands and tricks, especially with interactive play incorporated into his routine. Although he sometimes gets a bit bouncy and may jump up during greetings, with patience and proper training, Cooper is sure to become a well-mannered companion.
If you're seeking a lively, playful pup who’s as loving as he is energetic, Cooper might just be the perfect addition to your family. With his enthusiastic perspective on life, he’ll bring laughter, joy, and a delightful sense of adventure into your home. Ready to embark on new adventures? Cooper is all paws in!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
