About Buddy
Meet Buddy, the lovable JRT (we've been told) Amstaff mix who is ready to win your heart with his sweet nature and infectious spirit. We think he will grow to be a medium size adult dog. At just 6 months old, this delightful pup has a zest for life that makes every day feel like an adventure. With his exuberant personality, Buddy is sure to fill your home with joy and laughter.
Buddy is the epitome of an outgoing dog; whether he's greeting a new human or saying hello to another canine friend, he always does so with enthusiasm and wagging tail. He thrives on social interactions and is truly everyone's mate. Buddy is great with other dogs and enjoys playtime in the company of his peers, though he would benefit from some supervision or guidance when it comes to making feline friends.
This charming boy has a natural affinity for treats, pats, and toys, winning him a place in the hearts of everyone he meets. He could use some basic training and guidance, including lead training to help him become the well-mannered companion he's destined to be. With a little patience and consistency, Buddy is sure to become an obedient and loving family member.
Consider making Buddy a part of your life, and you'll be rewarded with endless affection and a loyal friend who cherishes you. Whether it's a leisurely walk, a playful romp in the park, or a cuddle session on the couch, Buddy is ready to accompany you on all of life's adventures. Bring Buddy into your home and experience the boundless love and joy that only a true canine buddy can provide.
Medical notes
Buddy has a significant grade 5/6 heart murmur which has been detected during his vet examination. Thoracic radiograph shows cardiac enlargement. Vet has advised monitoring and treatment options to be discusses and provided as required
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
