About Moon
Moon is a playful pup with a sweet nature. She will develop into a medium sized dog when adult. Being an active Kelpie mix this endearing girl will be the perfect match for an outdoorsy family who enjoy long walks or runs. She's a wonderfull ball of energy, but falls hard by late afternoon for a good, long snooze to recover from her morning play.
Moon has been great with her foster family's cat - she has not shown too much interest and doesn't chase at all. She is very playful around the dog she's fostered with. She can nip him occasionally in over excitement when playing, something she will probably mature out of but her owners can keep an eye on to keep her manners appropriate. Generally Moon is a very gentle girl.
Moon knows sit and will stay on her bed when asked. Her ideal family will be able to dedicate time to ongoing training and practice so that she understands boundaries and rules and therefore will blossom into a well behaved adult dog.
Like all pups, Moon will benefit from positive opportunities for socialisation (meeting new dogs, people and experiencing new situations and places) with her new family. We can't emphasise enough how vital socialisation is for pups. It lays the foundation for their lifelong behaviour and temperament. Moon wants to be near her humans as much as possible so walking to heel is already natural for her: this beautiful girl is like your little shadow.
Moon is working hard and learning fast when it comes to need toilet training. As she adores her two legged family members she will flourish if her owners are home more often than not for companionship, or if she can accompany you. Her favourite activity by far is falling asleep on your lap after a half an hour play session.
This lovely girl doesn't have a bad bone in her body and will bring joy her new owners, whether a family with kids, or anyone who can dedicate time to exercise and playtimes with her.
lf you think this beautiful puppy is a match for your home and lifestyle, please follow the instructions above to apply.
