Xena’s journey began when she came into foster care severely underweight, but she quickly blossomed into a healthy, happy pup, eager to share her boundless affection. Her playful spirit is infectious, and she delights in the company of her fellow foster dog, Blaze, but also thrives independently. Whether she’s enjoying playtime with her big foster brother or snuggling up on your lap, Xena knows how to balance her need for companionship and solo adventures.
She is so affectionate and sweet with her humans , ensuring those around her feel cherished. A quick learner, Xena was toilet trained in just days and uses the doggy door like a pro. She's a curious soul with a special fondness for socks, undies, and—beware—Christmas wrapping paper. Her enthusiasm extends to meal and snack times, with a particular affinity for cheese, but she shows no food aggression, making her a delightful dining companion.
Xena adores cuddles and pets; she will joyfully flop over for a belly rub at the sight of her human coming towards her. Though she gets mouthy sometimes, her gentle nibbles are her playful way of keeping the communication lines open, ensuring you understand just how much she cherishes your presence.

Adoption Criteria
An active family with a love of training
A home with a med to large yard and secure fencing , shade and shelter
Kids in the home would be great as he adores them, but we seek school ages and dog savvy
A home that has the time to keep her stimulated and well exercised throughout her life
Another dog in the home would be fabulous and we would be seeking a dog friendly playful young male who is gentle but loves to play
