About Oscar
Oscar is a remarkable two-year-old male cat with a rich personality that's worth discovering. Though we believe he may have experienced some trauma in his past, Oscar's journey of transformation in foster care speaks volumes about his capacity to heal and trust with patience and love. His endearing and affectionate nature has truly come to shine, revealing a loyal and sweet companion eager to share his life with a nurturing family.
Once he feels at home, Oscar is adorably smoochy and loves to bask in the warmth of company and attention. He's not just a pretty face; this clever cat is quite the communicator, using his expressive meows to share his needs and interests. Whether he's searching for you around the house or wants to use the litter box, Oscar is clear in letting you know what's on his mind.
Oscar would do best in a calm environment where his new family understands his need for time and patience. With this support, he promises to be a loyal and affectionate pet, ready to offer a lifetime of friendship. If you have the heart and space to welcome Oscar, he's ready to meet you and embark on a new life filled with love and understanding.

Adoption details
Please do not apply to adopt via our animals' PetRescue profile.
Follow the links below to be directed to the Wollongong City Council website, and find your preferred animal's online profile.
Once in the online profile, scroll down and click the link to complete an adoption application. Once received, a member of our team will be in touch to discuss your application and suitability for your preferred animal.
If we deem the animal to be suitable for your home and lifestyle, an in-person meet and greet may be organised. Should your meet and greet be a success, you can take your new furry friend home that day or following their desexing surgery. Our team will manage all your animal's paperwork, including ownership and vaccination documentation.
