About Mitch
Meet Mitch! This 4-year-old American Bulldog-Staffy mix is a big, loving boy with a heart that's bursting at the seams. He's a true "lover, not a fighter" - a big bruiser who would much rather cuddle up on the couch than cause trouble. Mitch is the perfect companion for someone looking for a laid-back, affectionate dog who loves being part of the family. His brindle and white coat is as striking as his gentle personality.
Mitch is a social and friendly dog, making him an excellent choice for a home with other dogs. He's respectful of his furry friends and enjoys playtime with them. He would do best in a household with older kids who can handle his playful energy and love for attention.
This lovable guy craves attention and affection, and he's seeking a home that's just as inclusive as he is. Whether it's snuggling up on the couch or enjoying a quiet moment with his family, Mitch is all about being involved in the action. He's looking for an owner who can match his loving, laid-back energy and provide him with the care and attention he deserves.
Mitch's Ideal Home:
A family with other dogs (or as a solo pup)
Older children who can handle his size and energy
An owner who wants a loyal, affectionate companion
A cozy spot on the couch for this big lovebug
If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion to share your home and heart, Mitch might be the perfect fit for you! He's ready to bring endless love, cuddles, and joy to his new forever home.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
