Peggy is a funny, endearing dog who will keep you smiling with her delightful zoomies and the way she "talks" to you. She adores being by your side, whether you're relaxing or on the move. Peggy is the ultimate little shadow, always eager to be part of your world.
Due to her injuries upon entering care, Peggy hasn’t had extensive formal training. However, she’s already mastered crate training, is house-trained, and her food motivation makes her eager to learn more. Peggy’s love for her people and her enthusiasm for life are all she needs to thrive with her new family.
Peggy’s ideal home is one where she’s included in your day-to-day life, showered with kindness, and cherished as the loyal companion she is. In return, she’ll give you her whole heart and brighten your days with her endless affection.
Peggy’s story is one of strength and determination, and she’s ready to start her next chapter with a family who will adore her just as much as she’ll adore them.
Medical notes
Peggy endured a challenging start to life, having been hit by a car while in the care of her previous owner. This resulted in multiple surgeries on both her left and right hips, as well as treatment for a broken arm. Despite these hardships, Peggy has made a remarkable recovery and shows no signs of being slowed down. Her determination and zest for life shine through, proving her strength and spirit.
