About Teak - 10 Week Old Staffy X (On Trial)
Say hello to Teak! A gentle and affectionate 10 week old American Staffy cross puppy with a heart full of love! Despite being a tad on the smaller side, Teak’s big personality shines through in every cuddle and wag of his tail. He’s quiet, calm, and absolutely loves to snuggle up with his humans for some one-on-one bonding time.
Teak is friendly with other dogs and would do best in a home with a patient and gentle dog who can help guide him as he navigates life. He’s still working on his toilet training, so his new family will need to be understanding and ready to support him as he continues to learn. Teak is looking for a kind, loving family who can provide him with the care, patience, and support he needs to thrive. Teak will grow up to be a medium/ large dog. You will need at least 5ft solid fencing, with no gaps (rural and mesh fencing will not be accepted). Due to his age, Teak will need someone home more often than not, and will need to be constantly supervised with any other dogs in the home. He would love to live with people who welcome him inside, and he will need to sleep inside at least until fully grown. Teak will be a wonderful family dog and will be suitable for those with young children, though he will need help learning manners including not jumping. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Teak’s siblings Pipi, Kura, Cedar, Cypress, Aspen, Willow and Maple are also available for adoption.
Teak’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Teak is in foster care in Stroud, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he is 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
