Introducing our sweet and beautiful girl with the cutest underbite, Pepper!

Pepper is searching for a new place to call home and a family who can take things slow with her and give her the cosy and calm life she needs.

Pepper is looking for adopters who can help her build confidence, especially when it comes to handling. She feels a bit unsure about getting harnessed for walks and can sometimes find too much petting and cuddling overwhelming. In general, she is a very smoochy girl who wants to be close to her favourite humans, but it is important to be aware of when she would prefer some time to herself.

It is also important for Pepper's adopters to introduce her to new people and unfamiliar environments gradually and positively so she can become more comfortable and confident. Due to her nervousness, Pepper is best suited to a home with secondary school-aged children and older (12+) who can respect her boundaries and space when needed.

Pepper is also a little unsure when it comes to meeting new dogs, however, she may be suitable to live with a well-matched doggy sibling. If you have a resident dog at home, please make sure you bring them to the shelter so they can have a meet and greet with Pepper to see if they are happy together.
